Quilt preparation, the last step!

Pressing the quilt top is the final step before loading onto the frame!

This is your final step before the quilt is loaded on the frame to be quilted. This top was pieced, pressed flat and stored flat for many months. You can see, the top needed a touch up of hot iron with steam to re-press the seams. The top was now ready to be quilted. A flat quilt top will provide the best canvas for quilting and reduce any fullness in the top.
